ANZAC Student Tour Competitions
2009 Competition
The ANZAC Student Tour 2009 competition has now closed. A record number of entries were submitted to the Department by the 1 August 2008 deadline. The Preliminary Finals will take place during mid-August, with up to 24 students across the three categories selected to progress to the State Finals. Applicants will be notified of the outcome sometime after 1 September 2008 with the State Finals to be held on 20 October 2008.
The ANZAC Student Tour 2009 will see 12 students represent Western Australia at ANZAC commemoration events in France in 2009.
Selection for this highly prestigious program occurs independently through the Department of Education and Training, the Catholic Education Office and the Association of Independent Schools of Western Australia. Winners will be announced 10 November 2008 and invited to attend a Presentation Dinner on 3 December 2008.
