ConditionsSchools are responsible for their own transport costs and arrangements. The DET Network of Camp Schools is staffed by personnel who are qualified to meet relevant Department policy requirements. All activities are conducted in accordance with the DET policy Excursions: Off School Site Activities and Outdoor Education and Recreation Activities. Small groups may often be combined but this will be done in consultation with the principals of the schools concerned. The confirmation of your booking will be accompanied by details of administrative and organisational procedures together with program suggestions. A deposit of $10.00 per person is required to confirm bookings made. This is refundable up to 8 weeks prior to the camp commencing. Cancellations made after this time period are non-refundable. Meals are provided at all camps. Self-catering options exist at some camp schools. Time slots are allocated according to the following priorities:

BookingsBooking preference will be given to schools that identify their educational programs and the curriculum related objectives that they wish to have supported. The Camp School Managerin charge of each centre is able to assist in the formulation of programs. Camp School Managers have a particular commitment to environmental and outdoor education and fully use experiential learning methods to achieve camp objectives.
