Red Evaluations and Black Evaluations Definition
11 November 2008
Automatic Screen Only: In the formal report data entry screen, if an outcome features a red integer it is due to the evaluation being made in a previous calendar year. Evaluations made in a previous calendar year do not automatically generate a grade. Teachers must either confirm or change these evaluations. Any evaluations that have been entered in the current calendar year display in black and the associated grades displayed are derived from the Grade Allocation Resources associated with the current reporting period.

Attitude, Behaviour and Effort descriptors
11 November 2008
Following consultation with practising teachers, the Attitude, Behaviour and Effort descriptors have been amended. Users reported that the terms ‘Usually’ and ‘Consistently’ were often interpreted as being one and the same by teachers and parents. As a result, the descriptor previously entitled ‘Usually,’ has been replaced with ‘Sometimes’. The descriptors Seldom and Consistently remain in place. The updated support manuals and Curriculum Manager 2.7 release notes contain further details on the descriptor change.
