Online Discussion with Peter Bolt
The online discussion forum enabled WA public schools to communicate with Peter while he raced. Although the forum is now closed, postings can still be viewed.
This forum was for WA public school teachers and students.
Register as an EdNA user:
- If you are not registered as an EdNA user, please do so here. An email address is required.
- An email will be sent to you. Follow the instructions to complete your registration.
- Log in to EdNA "Groups" once to check your registration is active. (This step makes your username visible so you can be made a member of the discussion forum.) To log in to EdNA Groups:
- Go to the EdNA website www.edna.edu.au.
- Click "Groups" on the very top right menu.
- Click "Login", then log in by entering your email and password.
Join the discussion forum:
- Email the forum administrator David Katz (use DET email address) to request access. Include the following:
- your name
- school
- EdNA username (the email address you registered with)
- You will be made a member of the forum and notified by email.
Access the forum (once you are a member):
- Log in to EdNA Groups as described above.
- Click "Clipper Yacht Race Forum".
- The next screen is the main page of the forum.
Use the forum with your students:
- Teachers use their login to give access to their students. Teachers may log in on more than one classroom computer at the same time.
- Teachers and students are invited to ask Peter questions. He will reply when he can.
- Peter's time is limited. Please ask students to make sure their questions have not already been answered.
