Firstly, the give

The
Department offers a counselling service to all its employees and their
immediate family members. This is an independent and confidential
service. |
| Mediation
Services |
The
Department has contracted OSA Group to provide mediation services
to its staff to reduce workplace conflict and therefore
reduce the potential number of workers' compensation occupational
stress claims. |
| Occupational
Safety and Health |
The

in the management of risk through the process of identification, assessment
and control, provision of professional advice and guidance on safety
and health issues affecting school sites; and provide training to
school staff on various safety and health issues. |

The
Injury Management area provides rehabilitation assistance and support
to employees who have sustained an injury or illness, and to principals
or line managers to assist their employees return to normal work hours
and duties. |
|
Workers' Compensation |
Workers'
Compensation provides assistance to injured employees. Weekly payments
