Information Services manages the collection and reporting of statistical information relating to schools, students and staff throughout the WA education system.

The area manages a number of important data collections, the main one being the census of public and private schools. The census occurs each year in February and August. Staff data for public schools is collected in February and August from the Department's payroll system.

A selection of statistical reports produced by this area, which involve student, school and staff details for both the public and private sectors are made available here. Also available is a list of school updates such as new schools, any proposed schools and schools that are closing.
